Mount Faber is the best place to go to get a great panoramic view of the city of Singapore. It is only about 350 ft tall, but its central location in the Bukit Merah planning area of the city centre give it the best vantage point for visitors to look down on the buildings of Singapore.

Mount Faber Park is also the gateway to the island resort of Sentosa. The Singapore Cable Car will take you all the way from Sentosa Island to the top of the peak and back again.

The mount itself is cooler than the city and is therefore a nice place to go for a walk. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and you can easily spend a morning or an afternoon looking at the shops and cafes around the area. The Henderson Wave Bridge is within close walking distance and the Faber Walk pathway will take you right up to the highest point on the mountain.

It is not the gentlest walk, and if you want to make the most of the park and the views then you should be prepared to walk quite far up relatively steep paths.
