The Singapore Philatelic Museum is a stamp collector’s dream. It houses an extensive collection of stamps and other historical artefacts relating to the postal service in Singapore. It tells the story of the development and the progression of the postal service in Singapore as well as being home to a wide variety of stamps from different countries in the Universal Postal Union. The earliest stamp in the museum dates back to the 1830s and the permanent exhibitions cover everything from the introduction of the first ever stamp, and how stamps have evolved due to developments in science, history, culture and technology.
